Yup, the early stuff was amazing. 2112, Hemispheres, All The World's A Stage, Farewell To Kings, Fly By Night and Caress Of Steel (featuring a second appearance of By-Tor!), Moving Pictures and Exit Stage Left were all amazing albums.
Have never seen Gooey Windscreen (lol) or Paul Gilbert though. The last artist I saw live was Al Stewart (I'm also a big fan of folk rock!) at the Royal Albert Hall and he was amazing. He did Past, Present And Future and Year Of The Cat, the full two albums. Brilliant.
I'm also a huge fan of Yes (but again the early stuff before they too went too commercial in the 80s).
