While I normally tend to stay away from the VR Horror titles I had to make an exception for Narcosis even though this game was kinda terrifying for me! There is just something about the feeling of being isolated in a dive suit far below the surface that gets me anxious and Narcosis took this to a whole new level. Overall the gameplay is good and the graphics and audio are great! Narcosis has a slowly building pace that amps up the feeling of dread very well. There are a few jump scare moments but this game doesn't rely on them for the cheap thrill factor they bring. The intensity builds until the Narcosis starts to set in and things get crazy! There is also an underlying story that forms as you progress through the game and it goes even deeper as you find hidden objects along the way. I do wish that Honor Code would have given Narcosis Touch support since it would have felt great to play it standing and with hands but even so, If you are looking for a horror game that has a bit of a slower pace and that isn't based on throwing jump scares in your face at every turn then I would recommend giving Narcosis a look!
