Today on Lunchtime with my Gear VR I am taking a look at Corridor of Doom. With all the hype surrounding the release of Wilson's Heart on the Oculus Rift I thought I would give this a shot hoping it would be a similar yet very basic form of that experience. Overall I think it was a decent enough game but it is definitely still a bit rough around the edges. The black and white camera perspective was cool and I loved the radio broadcast playing in the background but where this experience fell a bit flat was in the fact it was very repetitive with the player constantly running in a circle. There were also some issues with the scaling of the environment and some of the sound effects were quite loud. Another thing that I really liked was the developers making this have full FPS style controls so thanks to them for not making this teleport or snap turning! I really hope that the developers continue to add to this and fix some of the glaring issues as I feel this could be a really cool experience if they do.
