Back in the 90's.. there was a company that was renting out time in a vr headset, and it costed 15$ for 15 mins. I tired it out, and it was a first person shooter with flying dinosaurs over head, and if you weren't careful, they would pick you up and drop you. The aiming was off.. the headset was bulky, you stood in a booth, but. I loved it. And ever since I've gobbled up every experience that ever mimicked it.. virtual boy,.. 3d tvs.. video glasses.. anything.. then while researching a new version of video glasses, I stumbled across a post of Palmer lucky on a vr headset he was making, and in it he said he sent the prototype to John freaking Carmack!! And I was instantly sold. From then on I've been patently waiting, scooped up the s6 version of the Gear VR, and started to share my joy on youtube. and most recently acquired a CV1. And my dreams are being realized. The future Is so bright for VR!
