Just when I thought the game couldn't get any better the developer adds Touch controls lol
I'm not sure but I also think that he's touched (lol) up the graphics a bit. They seem to look better to me somehow. He's also added a wind mechanic here and there too.
I stopped my playthrough a while back because I was hoping he'd add Touch controls and have started a new game. It's awesome. You press and hold X to bring up your inventory and use your right hand to select stuff like the lockpicks and the oil. Your lamp is held in your left hand (although you can change the handedness in the options if you're a lefty) and you pick up the oil with your right trigger, move it into the lamp and let the trigger go. Selecting the lockpicks is also done with the right trigger.
The right trigger is basically the Action button and opens doors that aren't locked. If the doors are locked you don't have to fuck about with the moving bit to use the lockpick you just press the trigger after selecting the lockpick, press the Action button to pick the lock and then Action again to open it.
The best thing though is the map. You press and hold the A button to bring up the map and you need to move the lamp to see it properly otherwise it's in the shadows. It (and I think a new normal map unless I didn't notice it before?) makes it look like a proper 3D map and increases immersion.
Playing it standing up also increases the immersion for me too.
You guys should check it out if you haven't already it's made one of the best VR games released so far even better.
